English version of Blue* released. (For English)
Hey there, welcome to 'Novelsphere News', our blog for all things Novelsphere related, including novel games in general.
To commemorate the release of the English version of 'Blue*' this post will be made available in English.
'Blue*' is the first English title to be released on our platform.
* You can play novel games hosted on Novelpshere directly on your browser.
You can also embed them on your own website or blog.
Blue*, initially a free Japanese visual novel released in 2011 as a Windows application, has received high praise in Japan for its high quality artwork, combined with its expressive writing and charming sound track.
The novel is comprised of three main arcs, with the story progressing through the perspective of Nishikujo Natsume and Asagiri Sou, who re-tell their 'memories'.
It boasts a unique, yet meaningful and heartfelt story which involves finding 'mysteries' from the past, and seeking the answer to the 'real problem' of the novel's heroine, Rei.
Because the game is a few hours long, feel free to use Novelsphere's save function, which will allow you to resume your progress at any time.
However, to access the save function, you will have to register as a user.
You may do so 'here' - it will only take a moment.
The Japanese version of 'Blue*' can also be played on NovelSphere.
Playing through both versions might be a good idea if you are studying Japanese.
Finally, we are distributing the SDK required to publish games to Novelsphere entirely for free.
If you're interested in creating a novel game, feel free to give it a spin!
